Jim Barbee Joins Nevada Strategies as CEO

We’re proud to welcome Jim R. Barbee as the new President and CEO of Nevada Strategies.

Jim brings over 20 years of experience in state and local government, most recently serving as County Manager for Churchill County. His leadership has been instrumental in major projects across Nevada, from the $15 million Rafter 3C Arena to securing $42 million in SNPLMA funding for new recreational facilities.

At the state level, Jim led the Nevada Department of Agriculture and played a key role in expanding food safety, career education, and rural economic development.

As CEO, he’ll guide Nevada Strategies’ work connecting businesses with government to drive growth across Nevada—especially in communities that need it most.
